TaDa Festival presents Bloodline

As part of the TaDa! Performing Arts Festival, Theatre Wakefield is proud to present Bloodline - a co-production with Wakefield Writers Festival des écrivains La Pêche.

Bloodline is a play by and featuring master storyteller and Indigenous Elder Albert Dumont, co-created by Phil Jenkins. The play takes place at the fictitious Kanata Chapter of the Dominion Club of Canada where, following on from the Truth and Reconciliation Committee recommendations, Anishinaabeg Albert Dumont is invited to give a talk. Weaving autobiography, poetry and photography, Albert creates a powerful story of one indigenous man’s spiritual journey. An unforgettable piece of theatre.
