Auditions for New Works reading

Théatre Wakefield’s “From The Page To The Stage” New Works writing program is auditioning for three parts for a live reading at the upcoming TaDa! Festival on September 14th, 2019.

 

“A Matter Between Life And Death” by Guy Buller is a sexy, dark comedy. It is one of twelve submissions to this year’s program.

 

Casting:

- Woman and Man, mid-thirties to mid-fifties

- Narrator

 

This being a play reading, memorization of lines is not required or preferred. Voice is most important for conveying the story. Alertness and wit are helpful. No memorized material is required for the audition. We will read from the play script.

 

Commitment:

2 evening rehearsals and performance on the day from 3:00 to 4:00 PM- no exceptions!

 

Auditions are 7:00 PM next Wednesday evening, September 4th in the lobby of the Centre Wakefield La Peche.

 

Even if you are not cast in this show, please come out for it and alll the wonderful programming of this year’s TaDa! Festival including Ian Tamblyn’s comedy “Nun Of It”.
