As the great days of radio drama wind down, a small troupe of radio actors and their tyrannical director are about to lose their jobs. In a desperate attempt to impress their sponsor, they put on a live version of his favourite classic story. Trouble is the lead actor thinks they’re still doing his detective show, and the resulting mash-up is a hard-boiled laugh-fest.
