Once upon a time… We have heard these tales from the very early days of our lives, reminding us to mind the path, to fear the dark, and to wish for a perfect life. These stories have been retold and reimagined in mythology, popular culture, and literature. Different names, different faces, but the same messages. Wishes can come true. Names from our childhood story time return to let us know that the human narrative is much more complicated as we strive towards our individual hopes and dreams. The constant attempt at balancing the light and the dark, the good and the evil, our morals and our ethics make our journey complex and confusing. Ultimately, we are face with the truth that for every action there is a consequence.
Remember, wishes come true. Not free.
