Doin That Fringe
The 2009 Piggyback Fringe has numerous new community partners and activities for theatre aficionados, families, parade watchers, pork lovers, and students of the great art of live entertainment.
Start by checking out the map below. Orient yourself to the three main street (Riverside Drive) venues, the Wakefield Community Centre, the Piggyback Parade Route, Piggy Central, the popular PIGSTY eateries, the Performer Workshops locations, and the three main parking areas at the community centre, Cafe Molo, and Hamilton Motors.

Little Piggies - the whole family is welcome on opening day
Piggyback kicks off Sunday June 28th with Ottawa Stilt Union's amazing
performance of "The Girl Who Was Eaten by the Dark" at 2:30 pm at the
Community Centre grounds. Then try out stiltwalking. At 3:45 there
will be a sidewalk parade to the Peace Park to enjoy family
entertainment from 4-5 pm featuring Survival Arts Circus, Devorah's
Didgeridoo, Brian Sanderson, and the Potbelly Royal Family.
PIGSTY - no one goes hungry
Local eateries will be offering Piggy Specials for a quick SNORT or a liesurely MUNCH N GRUNT. Check out Chez Eric. Cheesy Luigi's Pizza, Soupçon, Bistro Rutherford and Cafée Grano. Not to mention Piggy Central at Kaffé 1870.

STILTS - everyone stands tall
Join the Ottawa Stilt Union for the World Premiere of "The Girl Who was Eaten by the Dark" at 2:30 at the Wakefield Community Centre and try taking a walk on the tall side.
Parking - everyone gets a stall
Piggyback 2009 has three main parking lots - look for Piggy Park signs:
1. Wakefield Community Centre on Valley Drive
2. Café Molo - formerly the Earle of Wakefield - on Valley Drive
3. The former site of Hamilton Motors on Riverside Drive - turn right at the intersection at the bottom of Valley Drive.
